Ignoring the Wolf in the room

I was hoping to open a line of discussion on how you guys go about dealing with every day life as Therians. I mean I know it is slightly different for me being that I struggle to control not just the animal in me but the monster in me as well. Do you guys have to modify your actions around others or do you find it more natural and free living as more of an animal.

hm usually i prefer to hide it.... ppl dont understand and I got this other psycho-caused thing because of which they keep asking.... its ok to a certain degree but after that its just annoying....
plus these freaks tend to panic and want to lock everything in they dont understand ;-; and I dont want to be locked and drugged

Sucks we have to live in skin suits. I wish the Humans were not the favored clan at this point but I guess it is what it is.

I havent really hidden my other sides, tbh from when i was the age of 4 i was labled as 'different' because i'm slow, so i did the only thing i could i just acted how i wanted to, i mean what was the point in hiding what i am incase i got called a freak when i already was. Gradually as i got older i started toning down certain aspects of my nature but its all still there, just don't howl as much anymore lol and trained myself to walk properlly which was hard cause my legs are slightly deformed anyway. But with the job i'm in we have to make sure we act normally so its quite hard, but i've already been on drugs because counsellors thought i was 'strange' but its just cause they don't understand

Aww I hate Humans so much your not at all strange and I still howl. As for how I act I guess I am forced to behave like a human elst I'd be sent away by my folks. My mom said I had a demon in me as a child so now i strictly hide what I am from her even if she was partly right.

My dad and brother think i'm a freak but i don't care anymore i'm used to their abuse. The only people who excepted me for what i am in my family are all dead now anyway so no point fighting with it

My grandpa knew i was different he was Cherokee and he use to call me WayaNadanata which means wolf soul in Cherokee language. I didnt understand when he was alive. Now he is gone and i will never know what he knew

Hmm... how do I deal with my "condition"? Well, I generally attempt to force-shift to human. :P And if that doesn't work, try to keep the growling/dark staring/releases of malice/accidently whacking someone with a wing (yes, I know with spirit wings you don't generally hit people -.- It's habit and who knows? Sometimes it actually does happen...) to a minimum.

Anyway... if I do get caught I try to (A) pass it off as something else, (B) convince the person that it was their imagination, or (C) pray, even though I don't have a religion. xD

I have to hold it in unless I'm with friends that understand, my wolf side happens to be very aggressive at times so I have to hol it in... I hate having to hold it in, I don't like how what humans don't understand they label as weird and crazy

Amongst my friends, it's perfectly normal in our group to exercise your therian self, so we tend to act less human amongst eachother. The minute any full-grown adult, authoritative figure, etc. are involved, we tend to wear the masks people come to recognize as human. It's just the way society is now...kinda sad.
